The EU is becoming a quasi-fascist state. It preaches loudly about 'freedom and democracy' as long as that freedom and democracy is anywhere but at home. It is quite OK with democratic deficits in Romania, Austria, France, and Germany where it will happily ban the AfD and thus silence 25% of the German electorate.
Frankly, it's an entity that requires a silver bullet to put us all out of its misery. Russia may just provide it. Unfortunately the 'collateral damage' (what a hideous term!) may number millions.
Blinkered ideologues on a narrow track bereft of peripheral vision - full speed ahead desperately looking for the increasingly diminishing light at the end of the tunnel.
